The Hai Long Offshore Wind Project is a landmark renewable energy development located 45 to 70 kilometers off the coast of Changhua County in the Taiwan Strait. With a total planned capacity of 1,022 megawatts (MW), it ranks among the largest offshore wind projects in Asia.

The London Array is a 175-turbine 630 MW Round 2 offshore wind farm located 20 kilometers (12 mi) off the Kent coast in the outer Thames Estuary in the United Kingdom. It was the largest offshore wind farm in the world until Walney Extension reached full production in September 2018.

Veja Mate is an offshore wind farm with a capacity of 402 MW being built in the German North Sea. The project is located ~95 km NW from Borkum island in the German Exclusive Economic Zone, an area with strong, steady winds. This will allow our 67 Siemens SWT-6.0-154 turbines, each with a capacity of 6 MW and a rotor diameter of 154 meters, to produce enough electricity for 450.000 German homes every year.

The Yunlin Offshore Wind Farm, located in the Taiwan Strait, is one of Taiwan’s significant renewable energy projects, featuring 80 Siemens Gamesa wind turbines. With a total capacity of 640 MW, it is expected to provide clean energy to over 600,000 Taiwanese households once fully operational.

Formosa 1 is Taiwan's first commercial-scale offshore wind farm, located 2–6 kilometers off the coast of Miaoli County. It has an installed capacity of 128 MW, with 22 wind turbines.
